What are the Chakras?
Chakras are strongly connected with Shamanic Healing practices.
“Chakra” means “wheel” in Sanskrit and are disks of energy/light that rotate clockwise 7-10 centimeters outside the body.
Researchers have found references to the chakras among the Inca, and Maya civilizations as well as other indigenous cultures.
The 9 Chakras system
According to Dr. Alberto Villoldo’s teachings, we have nine(9) chakras. Seven(7) of them are located within our physical body, and two(2) of them are outside the body.
Each chakra vibrates at a unique frequency and radiates one of the colors of the rainbow.
Chakras, a gateway for Healing
The chakras are the organs or the energy centers of the Luminous Energy Field (LEF).
They link to our spine and act like a direct gateway between the nervous system and the energy field.
Each chakra represents distinct human aspects, instincts, and elements of the universe (i.e., air, water).
Traumatic events we experience create toxic sludge around the chakras and imprints in our Luminous Energy Field (LEF).
The information contained in these imprints is transmitted through the chakras into our nervous system and creates physical, emotional/mental, psychic, and spiritual disorders.
Chakras in a newborn child radiate the purest colors. As we grow older, the colors in the chakras become dull.
Shamanic healing practices work in two directions. They cleanse the toxic sludge around the chakras but also use them as a gateway to clear out imprints of trauma and loss from the energy field.
